Breakfast Club

Every weekday morning of the school year, since 1999, volunteers have been serving up a tasty and nutritious breakfast to children at a local elementary school.

Teachers comment on how much more focused and alert the children are who participate, enjoying a meal that makes an essential contribution to their development and learning.

An average of 50 children are served breakfast each day, by caring, attentive volunteers, who also enjoy talking with the children, playing games, and celebrating special events and occasions.

MarketPlace IGA and Breakfast for Learning are special partners with AOK, who help to make this important program a reality.
