CHIP

The Coronary Health Improvement Project (CHIP), is a lifestyle intervention program with more than 50,000 graduates worldwide. Founded and presented by Dr. Hans Diehl, the CHIP program focuses on reducing coronary risk factor levels through the adoption of better health habits and lifestyle changes. Risk factor levels are assessed before and immediately following completion of the 40-hour educational program. Results have been published in the American Journal of Cardiology (1998) and the Journal of Occupational and Environmental Medicine (2002).

AOK brings the CHIP program to Aldergrove once a year, in the spring. An active monthly alumni meeting encourages graduates to stay healthy after the program is completed.

Next session: Spring 2010. Call to have your name added to a waiting list.
